Fishing Report Lake Neely Henry 7/2/13
July 2nd, 2013 Written By: Dustin King Posted In: Fishing ReportsCurrently the fishing on Neely Henry is deep into a Summer pattern. Water temps are in the 90′s and fish are on the ledges. You can catch fish right now on a go2bait company 10in worm, and a go2bait company finesse worm teamed up with a tackle doctor jig head. We are fishing ledges ht go from 12ft and top out around 6ft. Usually if you find 1 fish you are going to find several. Be on the lookout for surfacing activity, shad flipping, ect….this is a great sign. If you can find a ledge with baitfish then you are going to be sure the bass will follow. Also, the stripe activity is really picking up on the main river! Be sure to drag a worm up under them to catch some quality largemouth and spots s well. I have several days available and would love to take you on an evening or weekend guide trip!
